These puppies are similar to Great Pyrenees, though a little smaller, originating on the Italian side of the Pyrenees Mountains. They are shy and gentle dogs. They bark at strangers and predators. They guard all kinds of livestock or make great family pets depending on their environment and training. We have two dogs as house pets and six dogs guard our sheep flocks.
